Leather workers, Mario and Martino Prada opened a shop in 1913; however the company was revolutionized by their granddaughter Muiccia in 1970. What began with the success of the classic nylon tote, revolved into a shoe line to a ready to wear line. Today, the Prada insignia is recognized as the go to brand for style, class and Italian sensibility.

The Prada flats are cute, polished, extremely comfortable, and appropriate for so many occasions. They laso work with nearly all fabrics and styles from pants to dresses.

Great investment bag

Like most handbag-aholics I own many of the bags that have reached icon status over the past few years. You know the brands...but the one I reach for all the time is this Prada. Their nylon bags wear like iron (I still have and use the backpack I bought 15 years ago--still looks new) and the shapes are modern but still classic. This one is big enough for a 13" laptop plus all the daily necessities I need to go from work to play. It's not cheap, but it is worth the money.

This is my second pair of Prada sneakers. My first pair is 5 yrs old and still going strong. They are very comfortable and durable. I expect this second pair to be the same.
